1)Introduction to Sudan Garri-2 Combined Cycle Power Station Project

Sudan Garri-2 project is equipped with four sets of gas turbines (provided by GE), 2 sets of HRSG, as well as two steam turbines and generators (provided by Nanjing Turbine Co.).

The training and operational service of the project are provided by O&M Power. In the condition that our training center takes full advantage of the MARK-VI simulation system and the engineers with more than 10 years working experience combined theory with practice, the 60-day systematic training is completed successfully. In addition, during the operation 168 major defects of equipment are eliminated and 25 times failure-induced shutdown are avoided, laying a firm foundation for the smooth operation of the power station.

O&M Power is currently responsible for technical operation guidance, training and maintenance in the project.

2)Nigeria 8X42MW Gas Turbine Unit Commissioning Project

Project Features:

The project uses the GE equipment from USA. On March 27, 2002, in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, the general contractor and the power and steel department of Federal Government of Nigeria signed Pallando phase-1 (8X42MW) gas turbine engineering contract. The contract value is nearly US$ 200 million and contract construction period is 27 months.

O&M Power is responsible for the commissioning work of the gas turbine project.

On May 27, 2007, Nigeria Pallando Gas-fired Power Plant phase-1 project held a grand ignition launching ceremony. President Obasanjo of Nigeria attended the ceremony and made a speech. In the speech, President Obasanjo expressed he was very pleased to attend the ignition launching ceremony of Gas-fired Power Plant which is built with the help of China. Pallando Power Plant was another successful example of the cooperation between Nigeria and China in infrastructure construction. He praised the efforts of Chinese companies in the Pallando Power Plant construction.

The successful construction of the project is of important significance to mitigate the power shortage in Nigeria and promote local economic prosperity.
