At the invitation of the republic of Tajikistan parliament - a Central Asia, Vice Chairman of the NPC Standing Committee of the People¡¯s Republic of China led NPC delegation to visit Tajikistan from May 23 to 25, 2018. During the visit, Dushanbe Power Plant #2 undertaken by O&M Power greeted the inspection of Vice Chairman and his delegation with the accompany of the Chairman of TBEA and Chairman Qu of O&M Power.

Vice Chairman and the delegation entered the central control room of Dushanbe Power Plant #2 to learn about the project construction, production and operation of the project, as well as working and living conditions of staffs. The Vice Chairman also spoke highly of the working attitude of ¡°safety, high quality, high efficiency, responsibility and accountability¡± of Chinese enterprises, and recognized our outstanding performance in dedicating ourselves to offering light and worm to people of Tajikistan.

It is said that as the major power generation industry cooperation project between China and Tajikistan, this first phase project (100MW) of the Power Plant was started in November 2012, completed and put into production in 2014. On September 13th, 2014, Chinese president Xi Jinping and Tajik President Emomali Rakhmon jointly attended the completion ceremony of first phase and the commencement ceremony of second phase of this project. The second phase (300MW) was completed and put into production in December 2016.

O&M Power started providing services as training, manual book compilation, as well as commissioning, trail operation, commercial operation and maintenance after project completion of four units in two phases of this power plant since 2013. Amid the busy maintenance period in summer, there are 120 technical personnel working on site. In addition, we have finished the technical skills training of more than 300 local personnel in over 20 posts, including turbine, boiler, electrical part, chemical part, I&C and other related parts, which reserves the sparse talents for normal operation of the Power Plant after handover.

The inspection of the Vice Chairman and the delegation has inspired the enthusiasm for work of our staffs, and strengthened corporate development faith of developing into the ¡°international top-grade electricity generation operator¡±. Adhering to the business philosophy of "safety first, profit base, and providing sincere and excellent service", O&M Power will continue to supply the good operation and maintenance service to Dushanbe Power Plant #2, and inexhaustible power for co-constructing the ¡°belt and road¡± construction, as well as local social and economic development.
