Anew victory came from the O&M Power project department of Cameroon Moken hydropower in Africa. The project had successfully completed the second phase of training for the Cameroon operators.
As reported at site, first phase of training that has been completed is mainly conducted in the form of "theoretical explanation, demonstration advancement" to allow the owner's site staff to familiarize with electromechanical devices of hydropower station, metal structure, hydraulic structures, power transmission and transformation lines and equipment working principles, to master essential theoretical knowledge of hydropower safety operation and maintenance, and to improve perceptual cognition.
The second phase is performed in the form of "on-the-job mentoring, full participation". This is to allow the owner's site staff to know aboutthe working principles of main equipment, oil, water, gas, fire prevention, excitation, lighting, monitoring, protection, measurement, metering, DC and other systems, and to master the basic skills of operation, maintenance and repair.
During the training, O&M Power personnel have grasped each opportunity to combine with actual maintenance and operation to explain equipment principles to the Cameroon operators. Explanation is not only conducted to the Cameroon operators in the normally set training courses, but also the principles and working conditions of equipment are also explained to the Cameroon maintenance personnel during the actual maintenance work. Through the first and second phase of training, the Cameroon personnel not only have basically mastered the construction model of Moken hydropower station and the basic working principles of equipment, but also have developed a certain knowledge of auxiliary equipment function, demonstrating O&M on-site training work having achieved a significant result.
